‘Joining the Dots’ webinar: Smart Sandyford’s approach to data, research, and climate took place on Thursday 16th September as part of Dublin Climate Action Week 2021. See the video of the event below.
Tackling the major climate issues requires people with different expertise and experience to work together to identify novel but also practical solutions. This panel focuses on the collaborative work between local authorities, academics and industry using the ‘quadruple helix’ model to bring different knowledge bases and approaches together. This model has already led to our partnering on multi-million euro research projects now core to driving climate solutions in Dublin, and Europe.
The expert panel discussion includes examples from Smart Sandyford projects on analysisng sustainable mobility measures in Dublin, and developing European wide flood resilience.
