Dublin Tech Week 2026: Innovating Together for a Smarter City

From 22-29 May 2026, Dublin will once again take centre stage as a global hub for innovation when Dublin Tech Week returns for a second year. Following a highly successful debut in 2025, this city-wide community-led celebration of technology, talent and collaboration promises to be bigger, broader and even more inclusive.

Over eight tech-packed days, Dublin Tech Week will bring together innovators, startups, global technology leaders, educators, public servants and communities through 30+ events hosted across the county. From flagship conferences and summits to hands-on workshops and community-led meet ups, the programme reflects Dublin’s ambition to be a leading smart, connected and people-centred city.

For Smart Dublin, Dublin Tech Week is a powerful opportunity to showcase how innovation and emerging technologies are transforming public services and urban life. This year’s programme spans critical themes such as artificial intelligence, cyber security, smart cities, digital twins, data, fintech, women in tech and much more, all relevant to the future of local government and service delivery.

Major events taking place during the week include the Dublin Tech Summit in the RDS, the TechFoundHer Summit in the Mansion House, Enfuse Finals in Wood Quay, Gamerfest in the RDS, and a range of coding and digital skills events across Fingal.

Speaking ahead of the event, Ross Curley, Head of Economic Development at Dublin City Council and The Dublin Regional Place Brand, highlighted Dublin’s role as a European tech leader, noting that initiatives like Dublin Tech Week not only showcase world-class talent and cutting-edge innovation, but also inspire future generations and strengthen the city’s reputation as a welcoming, forward-thinking place to live, work and invest.

Dublin Tech Week is made possible through collaboration across the region’s innovation ecosystem, with partners including Dublin City Council, Smart Dublin, Dublin Chamber, Enterprise Ireland, The ADAPT Centre at Trinity College, TU Dublin, DCU Innovate, Dogpatch Labs, Guiness Enterprise Centre and many more.

Above all, Dublin Tech Week is open to everyone. Whether you work in Tech, policy, education, the public sector, or are simply curious about how technology is shaping our future, there is something there for everyone.
